The self-proclaimed King of the World directed movies that have made more money than any other filmmaker except for Steven Spielberg–managing to do this with only eight movies. James Cameron‘s last two efforts have fought for the distinction of being the highest-grossing movie of all time. He has led the way for the 3D revolution, championing the use of the format for artistic reasons and not just for a marketing cash grab. Each time he directs, he develops a new technology specifically for that movie, such as an innovative wireless recording system for The Abyss, morphing effects for Terminator 2: Judgement Day, and new motion capture cameras for Avatar. He is known for his difficulty as a perfectionist, yet cast and crew work with him repeatedly with great respect. His love for the ocean culminated in 2012 with a solo trip to the deepest trench in the world. How much do you know about him as a filmmaker? Click the button below and take the James Cameron quiz:

These were hard questions. I only got 20%. 😦
I was hoping the questions would be more along the lines of “True or False: James Cameron is Kirk Cameron’s father.”
And would Cameron Diaz be the mother. Wait, that doesn’t exactly work…
I got 70% on the quiz so I am accepting that as a win 🙂
